Classroom Management and Discipline Techniques That Support School Safety

This workshop is appropriate for administrators, counselors, psychologists, social workers, and teachers.

Participants will:

Describe how classroom management and discipline relate to school safety.
Brainstorm successful and unsuccessful techniques and strategies.
Describe pro-active, positive approaches that engage all students.
Develop a list of approaches they will implement and evaluate with individuals.
Develop a list of approaches they will implement and evaluate with the entire class.
Describe the benefits of a school-wide approach that includes peer mentoring and a team approach.
